The Cambodian Students Association (CSA) of Chiang Mai is dedicated to helping and supporting Cambodian Monks who are studying in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We strive to protect and support members of our community in every possible way to make their experiences here safe and rewarding. 3.To help strengthen and spread The Dhamma and Buddhist morality across cultures by exchanging our Cambodian heritage and knowledge and learning from other Buddhist countries through their monks and teachings. 4.To help advance society through the teachings of Buddhism on morality and a right livelihood. 5.To create solidarity, promote friendship and unity among the Cambodian community in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Our 5 main goals for the CSA are:
1.To increase cooperation between the University and it's foreign monks while learning more about Thai culture and building cultural sensitivity.
2.To help the Cambodian monks who come to study at MCU Buddhist University find suitable temples for them to reside in and aid with Visa forms, extensions and other logistical issues.
